You can set the theme and what products are sold. The fourth installment (the one Im requesting a translation to) allows the player to also open and run their own shop in a mall. What makes this game different from Animal Crossing is its magic system which allows the player to cast, as well as, design their own spells and incantations.

However similar to Animal Crossing, this game revolves around controlling the life of the player in a new town full of things to do and NPCs to interact with. The game is open ended allowing for multiple game styles. It didnt sell well but has since become a cult classic among mostly Animal Crossing fans looking for something similar yet different. This game series has four installments and the West only recieved the first game on the DS. Why I don't think this game will come to the West. Unfortunately yes it has a lot of text due to it being similar to Animal Crossing, this game has hundreds of different items, spells, locations etc. Game Name: Tongari Boushi To Mahou no Machi. Not great, but the spinoff series based on Mackenzie/Rina Ozawa's pet mushroom Funghi/Nameko was very well received and popular. There's also an encyclopedia you can fill up documenting the textures of things you touch from Sharkskin to carpet tassels to your butler's iron maiden bed and your best friend's floating hair.

Why I don't think this will come out in the West?
